More Human with Migration? | Windesheim Conference

On Friday, June 12, the conference “More Human with Migration?” took place at Hogeschool Windesheim in Zwolle. It was a valuable day focused on meeting, knowledge sharing, and connection around migration, society, identity, and citizenship.

During the conference, participants engaged in conversations about the stories behind migration, the changing nature of society, and the role of education in this context. Inspiring contributions from Bright Richards, Tamara Soukotta, Cok Bakker, and Metsje Krol offered diverse perspectives and generated new insights.

In addition to the keynote lectures, several lecturers facilitated inspiring workshops that provided space for deeper exploration, dialogue, and the exchange of experiences.

The day also marked a special moment to say farewell to the respected academic Metsje Krol. The conference served as a fitting and memorable farewell event in celebration of her retirement and in recognition of her many years of dedication and valuable contributions.
